Was Lacson Behind the 8 Year Dacer- Corbito Murder?

Who killed publicist Salvador “Buddy” DACER and his driver Emmanuel CORBITO? Why is it that the crime remains unresolved for almost eight years? Could the deportation of former Police Colonel Glen DUMLAO help the government resolve the case? And Why Sen LACSON called the deportation of DUMLAO a vindication? Was he behind the murder?

The DACER-CORBITOdouble murder case was one of the sensational cases due to the alleged involvements of several top officials of the Philippine National Police and known political figures including former Pres Fidel RAMOS and Joseph ESTRADA. Insinuations were then spreading that DACER’s killing was stemmed from his alleged utilization by then Pres Fidel RAMOS to destabilize former Pres Joseph ESTRADA whose administration was then taunted with corruption. At the time of his death, DACER was working with former PNP Chief Roberto LASTIMOSO, a known enemy of LACSON.

Despite the suspects’ denials, the family of DACER remains firm in claiming that LACSON was the brain in the killing of their kin because DACER at the time of the murder had evidences for the crimes against LACSON. Of course, the family will not speak unless they have evidences to support their claims. But, giving the benefit of the doubt, why were AQUINO, MANCAO, and DUMLAO left the country and abscond to the US if they had no hand in the killings? Under the Rules of Evidence “flight is evidence of guilt”. So, their flight to the US indicates that they were indeed guilty of the horrible killings.

But, the implications and the impending trial of AQUINO, MANCAO, and DUMLAO will not end the story because the trio seems to have no personal motive in killing DACER and CORBITO. Possibly, they were induced by somebody who was superior from them and that was no other than Sen Ping LACSON, the then Chief of the famous anti-crime body, the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Task Force (PAOCTF). Suspicion could have then that LACSON ordered the killing of DACER to prevent him from exposing LACSON’s crimes in the public because politics at that time might have already at the mind of LACSON.

Yet, LACSON could have been right in silencing DACER because otherwise he is not at the Senate right now. The Senate seems to be not enough for LACSON as he has now started using the institution for his ambition for a higher and even to the highest political position in the country – the presidency. Since LACSON is aspiring to become the next president.

Ping Admitted the Murder!

Senator Panfilo Lacson spilled the putrid beans! He was among the front row seats of quick quacks that storm the welcoming party to former PNP officers-Glenn Galapon Dumlao,Michael Ray B. Aquino and Cezar O. Mancao II. The news of these three’s possible extradition had Lacson squeking his neckout. For what its worth, can people ask just why Ping had been too anxious of the issue.

Old folks would often advise the young of the rotten pain in getting a dose of our self-made medicine. And maybe that’s what Ping is trying to steer clear of.

The Senator-elect could not be a sitting duck while the graft riddle charade is taking its toll in the government’s backyard, can he? If so, he would certainly add among the ratio of unrestrained dm-wits that participated on an unleashed free-fall.

That is, with the public utterly knowing the much-talked-about Senator’s association with Jose Velarde, bearing in mind that the court ruled on Pidal and ERAP being one and the same.

Who then are Dacer and Corbito?

The murder wraps of publicist Salvador “Bubby” Dacer and Dacer’s driver Emmanuel Corbito had been one of the longest running traumatic criminal investigation in Juan dela Cruz’s soil. Traumatic to the point that suspects behind said slay have gone through openly washing their hands clean while others fled and blatantly evaded the courts.

People believe that the inevitable drag and delays was due to the fact that the then pardoned former president Joseph Estrada, supposed mastermind of the grand buchery; have wittingly wield the tides in his advantage.

In a flashback, former police Senior Superintendent Glenn Dumlao was a subordinate of then PNP Chief Lacson. They were both regarde on tight-ties with ERAP which cause the press to clutter on their supposed “hand” on the former president’s dirty works, to include strings of violent cover-ups such as Dacer’s.

The publicist along with Corbito were found dead November 24th of 2000 after having been reported abducted in Makati. In few notes, the investigations led to the contention that the victim was supposedly working with Fidel Ramos to unseat ERAP. Of which, the Ramos’ originating destab plot got Dacer on heated ties with ERAP’s
Wingman-Ping. According to Amparo (Dacer’s daughter), his father (Bubby) had evidences of crimes committed by the Senator-elect.

This ballooning threat posed by Dacer to Lacson’s career and the executive seat of ERAP allegedly led to the bloody trail. Unfortunately, since Lacson and ERAP have tied-down power and niche of support, those “under” themwould have to deal with the trash and stinging consequences. That is, making Dulao, Aquino, and Mancao the country’s “top brass” sacrificial lambs.

Same Old Denial Tunes

Ping strongly denying his involvement or knowledge of his subordinates’ activities to include those with Dumlao and his men on Dacer is clearly one of the elected Senator’s natures. Won’t you agree? He had it once before during his implications on the Kuratong-Baleleng Rub-out and his just as good refuting the above.

It was rather unlikely of him who was known for his strict and authoritative rule in the PNP before to have his “men” rattling and orchestrating rub-outs and liquidations here and there without him knowing, right?

He surely has the “sniffs” for anomaly and wrongdoing but how could have he overlooked such crimes? Which is true then of Lacson? A self-confess fool who knows nothing of what’s going on? Or let’s say a damn good liar who sure can weave sand?
